So today's post is a little different as I thought it would be fun to share a few fun facts about myself for anyone that might be new or just curious about the girl behind the blog! I actually came up with this fun facts list as part of my 5 step process for discovering my personal brand - more on that topic here! It's a great way to get to know yourself better and to start piecing together what makes you unique. So here's 8 facts to help you get to know me better!
1. FAVOURITE TV SHOW?
Gossip Girl - This has been my absolute favourite show since the day it first came out on TV. I watch the entire series every summer as my very own annual tradition. Comment below and let me know if you're #TeamBlair or #TeamSerena (choose wisely!)
2. FAVOURITE FILM?
13 Going On 30 - I absolutely love classic 'chick flicks' and what young girl doesn't dream of one day being 'Thirty, Flirty and Thriving'!
3. FAVOURITE CITY TO VISIT?
Paris - No explanation needed. French food, French films, French fashion, I love it all! I also studied the French language for 9 years so this city definitely feels like my home away from home!
4. WHAT I EAT IN A DAY?
Flexitarian - I've tried a lot of dietary 'lifestyles' in the past few years from vegetarian/vegan to pescetarian but ultimately as a foodie, I prefer not to restrict myself from great dining experiences. I eat intuitively to what I feel my body needs and if that means salmon and greens one day and a pizza the next, that's what I do!
5. SOMETHING I'M OBSESSED WITH?
Self Development - Okay this one should be obvious as it's what my entire blog is about! I fell in love with the world of personal growth and self-help after graduating from uni and having no idea what to do with the rest of my life! I also collect journals like it's a full time job, a new one for every topic, from goal setting to abundance logging. Fashion & Freelance - Aside from blogging, I work full time as a social media & blogger outreach executive for a fashion brand in Manchester. I also have a freelance brand design business where I help biz babes looking to make an income while making an impact! 8. NOT-SO-GUILTY PLEASURES?
Reality TV - As much as I love activities that stimulate my mind and improve my life skills, some days I just want a lazy day of mindless fun. Reality shows like Selling Sunset are the perfect dose of drama and aspirational living that I love on my days off!
