My Fall Sunday Morning Reset Routine
Hey It-Girls! It's been the longest time since I've done a morning routine blog but since you've been loving them over on Reels (be sure to connect with me on Insta if you haven't already), I thought now would be the perfect time for an update! I'm sure we all know what it feels like to reach the end of the weekend and feel like you haven't made the most of your rest time before work or school. But this morning routine guarantees rest and relaxation WITHOUT any of those unwanted Smonday blues. Keep reading to check out my Fall Sunday morning reset routine below!
8am - 9am | Have a lie-in

Although I have a natural tendency to wake up early, even on the weekends, I like to stay enjoy some extra time in bed on Sundays as its one of the few days in the week when I have absolutely nowhere to be. Sundays have always been dedicated me time which means no social engagements, no errands, no obligations. Just nothing but me, my bed and a free day ahead to do whatever I want. Maybe it's the introvert in me but I think dedicating a day to be alone makes such a huge difference in feeling ready to face the world again on Monday. It's my ultimate self-care secret weapon!
9am - 10am | Deep cleaning my apartment
When I do finally decide to get out of bed, the first thing I have to do is clean and reset my space. It's pretty much impossible to relax when your environment is out of order. As much as I wish I was one of those cleaning-obsessed girlies, cleaning is not exactly my favourite thing to do. But even when it's grime time, I like to find a way to romanticise the moment. While I clean, I put on one of my favourite classic, jazzy old-time playlists 'La Vie En Rose', light some Fall-scented candles and 'whistle while I work' so to speak! Check out the playlist below and let me know, what gets you in the mood for cleaning your space?
10am - 11am | Make breakfast

Sundays are the perfect time for a little indulgence at breakfast! With the hectic mornings that come with working a 9-5, It's rare that I have the time during the week to make a proper breakfast. While my mornings usually consist of a homemade no-caf chicory root PSL to-go and a compulsory stop at the local Starbucks for a pastry before work, on Sundays I get to put my time and love into making myself whatever I fancy. Naturally I've been indulging in all things pumpkin-spiced so I've been experimenting with new recipes, courtesy of Pinterest. Pumpkin pancakes topped with cinnamon apples, maple syrup, crushed pecans & Biscoff have been an absolute fave lately! Let me know if you guys want the recipe - it's totally drool-worthy!
11am - 12pm+ | Watching my favourite TV shows & Youtubers

One of the best parts of having a day with no responsibilities is getting to catch up on all the things I don't have time to do during the week. Especially now that it's getting colder and more gloomy outside, there's no better feeling than curling up on the couch or in bed with a cup of oat hot chocolate and my Gossip Girl box set playing while it's raining. I also love to catch up on my Youtube feed in this time - it gets me in the perfect mindset for a new week, not to mention giving me some much needed inspo for new content! 12pm+ | Planning Content & Relaxing
Finally I spend the rest of my day planning and drafting content for the weeks ahead. During this time I'll do a lot of brainstorming, scrolling on Pinterest and Tiktok for ideas and trying not to end up in a content consumption rabbit hole (it happens...a lot)! Whether I only manage to plan one idea or write multiple blog posts in the space of a few hours, I don't put too much pressure on productivity on Sundays and always make time for a little radical laziness. After all, it's called a reset day for a reason! What is 'radical laziness' you may ask? I promise you its as good as it sounds, check out the blog below to read more about it!
